Regional Council of Central Finland

The Regional Council of Central Finland is a joint municipal authority that comprises all of Central Finland’s 23 municipalities. It is one of Finland’s 19 regional councils. The Regional Council of Central Finland’s aim is to promote quality of life and safeguard the well-being of people throughout the region.

• Long term planning,
• Responsibility for Regional Planning,
• Rapid reactions to current affairs, promoting interests
• Forming of a development strategy for the region, Defining the regional development objectives and the ways and means of implementing them – together with other regional authorities and numerous partners
